Planter boxes were designed and installed. And the recycling shed was given a horizontal cladding. These new elements helped to create a visual balance between stonework and wood. The neutral gray of the aged ipe also added to the overall "softening" effect.
New plants for the space included Ajuga reptans, Cornus sericea (Red Twig Dogwood) and PJM Rhododendron.
